HIGH POINT, N.C. – The 2016 Conference Carolinas Cross Country Championships will be hosted for the fifth straight year by Belmont Abbey College on Friday, October 21. The events will be held at Frank Liske Park in Concord, N.C. The women's race will kick-off at 3 p.m., with the men to follow at 4 p.m.
10 men’s teams and 11 women’s teams will compete in the championship races. The No. 17 nationally ranked men of Mount Olive headline the men’s race, while the No. 6 regionally ranked women of Mount Olive and No. 9 regionally ranked women of Limestone headline the women’s side of action.

Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 12 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey College, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, University of Mount Olive, North Greenville University, Pfeiffer University, and Southern Wesleyan University. Emmanuel College is currently completing the NCAA Membership Process and will be fully competing in league championships in the near future.
