Leah Hanle of Mount Olive Named Conference Carolinas Women’s Runner of the Week

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Leah Hanle of Mount Olive has been selected as the Conference Carolinas Women’s Cross Country Runner of the Week. 

The league office made the official announcement on Monday, Oct. 14. Hanle has now been named Conference Carolinas Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for two straight weeks and three times overall in the 2019 season.

The senior from Lichtenstein, Germany finished second individually with a time of 16:54.3 at the Royals Challenge, which featured 541 runners overall and 63 teams from across all divisions.

Conference Carolinas has a rich tradition in roots that dates back to its early initial inception on Dec. 6, 1930. The NCAA Division II athletics conference presently has member schools located in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
