Kaytlin Elkins of Barton Selected Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week for Second Consecutive Week

GREENVILLE, S.C. – For the second consecutive week Kaytlin Elkins of Barton has been selected as the Conference Carolinas Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week.

The league office made the official announcement on Monday, Sept. 23, 2019.

In two dominating wins last week for Barton, Elkins averaged 4.75 kills and 2.63 digs per set. Overall, Elkins had 38 kills, 21 digs and three service aces in the two Barton wins over Elizabeth City State and Shaw. She hit an impressive .354 in the two matches.

A junior outside hitter out of Hope Mills, N.C., Elkins is leading Conference Carolinas in kills per set at 4.28. She is third in overall kills with 107.
