GREENVILLE, S.C. - Jaelyn Brown of Mount Olive has been chosen as the Conference Carolinas Women’s Soccer Player of the Week.
The league office made the official announcement on Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2019.
A junior from Colorado Springs, Colo., Brown finished last week with an impressive eight points on three goals and two assists.
Brown collected a hat trick with three goals in Mount Olive’s 4-1 road win at Coker on Oct. 9. She followed that up with two assists in Mount Olive’s 4-0 road conference win at Erskine on Saturday, Oct. 12.
In helping to lead Mount Olive to an undefeated start in conference play at 5-0-0, Brown is presently tied for second in the league in both goals (7) and assists (4).
