Eric Shea of Southern Wesleyan Earns Conference Carolinas Biweekly Men’s Golfer Award

GREENVILLE, S.C. – Eric Shea of Southern Wesleyan has been selected as the recipient of the Conference Carolinas Biweekly Men's Golfer Award for Oct. 30, 2019.

Shea has picked up the honor twice already this season. He shared the honors with Leo Rigamonti of King on Oct. 2, 2019.

A junior from Brantford, Ontario, Canada, Shea collected individual medalist honors at the Miami Intercollegiate with an impressive three-round score of 201 (68-66-67). His stroke average of 67 allowed him to best a field of 50.

Shea had two first place finishes overall in the fall of 2019. He also claimed individual medalist honors at the Anderson Invitational.

Conference Carolinas has a rich tradition in roots that dates back to its early initial inception on Dec. 6, 1930. The NCAA Division II athletics conference presently has member schools located in Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee.
