North Greenville's Burchette Named to 2019 NABC Give Back Team

KANSAS CITY, MO. - The National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) announced the 2019 NABC Give Back Team on Wednesday (May 29), recognizing 10 men's college basketball players for their outstanding community service efforts.

Representing Conference Carolinas was North Greenville University guard Daniel Burchette. A senior from Weaverville, N.C., Burchette averaged 10.3 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.4 assists and one steal per game for NGU during the 2018-19 season.

The 2019 NABC Give Back Team includes five student-athletes from NCAA Division I and five from NCAA Division II and III and the NAIA, selected from a group of 63 nominated by college coaches and sports information directors across the country.

Conference Carolinas is a NCAA Division II athletics conference made up of 12 teams from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. These institutions consist of: Barton College, Belmont Abbey College, Chowan University, Converse College, Emmanuel College, Erskine College, King University, Lees-McRae College, Limestone College, University of Mount Olive, North Greenville University, and Southern Wesleyan University.
